NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Indie pop sisters CocoRosie, made up of Sierra and Bianca Casady, have reportedly been arrested and subsequently forced to cancel all but one date of their North American tour.

“We are so sorry to announce that we cannot play the rest of the U.S. tour dates,” read a post on the group’s MySpace page. “The band got arrested…that’s all I can say.” Despite not disclosing the reason for the arrest, the sisters requested a “prayer for our band,” and stated, “we are crying.”

The band is currently touring behind their third album “The Adventures of Ghosthorse and Stillborn,” and have cancelled all dates except a free gig on May 19th at the Central Park Summerstage in New York City.

In total, the sisters cancelled 9 shows, in cities including Philadelphia, Washington, Chicago, Boston, and Montreal. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
