The victim was 75-year-old Phillip Zulauf of Lower Mount Bethel Township, said Northampton County Coroner Zakary Lysek in a statement. His body was recovered from the pond on Sunday, April 9, the coroner added.
Zulauf's car and belongings were previously discovered near the small reservoir on Depues Road in Lower Mount Bethel on Friday, March 30, WFMZ reports.
The official cause and manner of death are pending further investigation, the coroner's office said.

At approximately 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31, an alert was issued by the Maryland Department of Transportation regarding a crash on MD 202 that led to all lanes being closed in both directions between Chelsea Lane and Marlboro Pike in Upper Marlboro.
