The Baltimore Police Department released a new video of murder suspect Leon Hill, 53, being marched through police headquarters before getting handcuffed and loaded into a police van for transport on Thursday, Feb. 2.
Hill is accused of killing 40-year-old Elaine Jackson, a mother of four, on Oct. 18, 2022, in the area of Carroll Park in Southwest Baltimore as she was heading to work.
Following the shooting, Hill went on the run for months before being ultimately apprehended in Atlanta, Georgia last month and returned to Baltimore on Tuesday, Jan. 31 by members of the Atlanta Police Department.
He has been charged with first-degree murder. Police have not announced his next court appearance.
